Oliver was born in Hong Kong from dual cultural parentage of Chinese and Danish. Like his grandfather and father before him, Oliver attended a private boarding school in England after which he read law at the University of Wales.

After graduating from University, Oliver worked in the motorsports industry where he raced cars professionally.  As one of the few international racing drivers from Hong Kong, Oli transitioned into the entertainment industry, traveling around the world hosting television shows, modeling, shooting television commercials, recording music, and making movies. 

Oli eventually returned to the law, working with one of the Big Four accounting firms to assist with the legal aspects of the administration of a high profile estate. He later practiced law with international and prestigious law firms.

​Oliver is qualified to practice law in Hong Kong and holds a Masters Degree in Advanced Legal Practice with Distinction.
